Who we are

This website is operated by Picard Grounded Insights, a sole proprietorship owned by Michael E. Picard, registered in Zurich, Switzerland. For any privacy question or request, write to info@groundedinsights.ch.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address and message.
• Technical data: when you visit the site, our host automatically records standard server data such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of access.

Why we use it

We use contact form data only to reply to your inquiry and, if we work together, to manage that relationship. Technical data is used to run the site securely and keep spam out. We do not sell your data, use it for marketing, or build profiles.

Under the EU GDPR, we rely on steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and on our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and protecting the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who else handles it

• GitHub hosts the website.
• Formspree receives contact form submissions, screens them for spam, and forwards them to us by email.
• Our email provider delivers and stores correspondence.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries outside Switzerland and the EU. Where this happens, transfers rely on the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified) or on standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for as long as an ongoing business relationship requires. If no relationship follows, we delete them within 12 months. Records may be kept longer where Swiss law requires it, for example business records tied to invoices.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. Send requests to info@groundedinsights.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the EU, with your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy as the website develops. The date at the top shows the latest version.
